The first Mini Cooper S Stock Saloon in South Australia was built and raced by Phil Hosking in 1971 and made its debut at Thunderbird Raceway on Sunday the 25th of July 1971. This was the same Race Meeting that George Tatnell made his exclusive appearance in his American Offenhauser Speedcar.
