Ian Gear in the Alex Rowe speedcar at a recent historic meeting at Murray Bridge Speedway..
In 1965 Alex Rowe asked the late Bill Wigzell to drive the yellow number 2 Ford powered Speedcar that was later sold to and driven by Joe Brandler and then went on to be driven by various drivers including late Colin Hennig, Steve Stewart and was then later powered by a Mazda rotary engine driven by the late elder son of Colin and Thelma Hennig Steve at Speedway Park and this car has been restored to the Supercharged Peugeot owned by Mr. Ian Gear.
